Certifications relating to Quality Controller or Inspector will have an advantage
Quality inspection experience
1+ years Quality Control experience in Inspection is preferred
Product or industry-specific experience
Required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and Power Point
Basic Math & Geometry/Trigonometry is required.
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Flexibility based on plant production schedules.

Duty and Responsibility:
Responsible for assuring that manufactured sofas are made and assembled correctly to the product specification. If a product does not meet specific standards, recommendations are made to improve the quality of a product
Understanding customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
Devising and reviewing inspection specifications for products
Accept or reject finished product as per IQC inspection:
Reject or remove all products that fail to meet specifications.
Send the rejected product for rework as/if required.
Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
Maintain all controlled document files and records in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintains record of inspections, and
Prepares list of defects
Report all quality problems or findings to HQ and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.
